FINE ART website launched

Lorna has just launched her fine art site featuring her new series of work "Feral'. Archival prints are available for purchase and a coffee table photo book is also being designed.www.lornafreytag.com




NOVEMBER '10
COLLEZIONI BAMBINI Shoot

Lorna has just finished working on a "Gulliver's Travels" themed story for Italian kids fashion magazine Collezioni Bambini. The story will feature in the Spring / Summer 2011 issue due out in January.




OCTOBER '10
BOM Gallery Exhibition opens — Seoul

A selection of Lorna's work is featuring in a joint exhibition in Seouls Bom Gallery. The 9 images currently being exhibited include "Flock of Flamingoes" and "The Apple Tree" www.bomgallery.com




SEPTEMBER '10
WILD CHILD in progress with Walker Books

Walker Books approached Lorna in 2009 to come up with a concept and create magical images for a new childrens picture book. In collaboration with the popular children's author Jeanne Willis "Wild Child" is in the later stages of production and is due to be published in 2011.

WEDDING MAGAZINE shoot

Lorna has just finished working on a "Balloons and Ribbons" themed story for Wedding magazine. The story will feature in the Spring 2011 issue.




JUNE '10
Returning to Scotland

Having enjoyed many years living in New York, Dubai, London and Sydney, Lorna and her husband have decided to move back to Scotland at the end of June. She will continue to do commissions for London, Europe and beyond and will be based in Edinburgh.

HEAD ON Portrait Prize — Sydney

Lorna has been selected as a finalist for Sydney's Head On Portrait Prize with her "Big Snail" image. The prize is Australia's most critically acclaimed photographic portrait competition and exhibition reflecting a vibrant diverse cross-section of new and traditional photographic practices. The show's main selection criteria are the quality and impact of the image, rather than the celebrity of the photographer or subject. As a result Head On is regarded by the arts community and reviewers as the most critically important photographic portrait prize in the country. 40 images were chosen from over 2500 entries which will be on display at the Australian Centre of Photography until June.


MAY '10
PHOTO+ Magazine Interview — Korea

Korea launched their new "Photo+" magazine this year featuring Lorna's work and an interview with the photogarpher. They also used her "Big Snail" image for the cover. An exhibition in Seoul is also in development for later in the year.
